Iraq’s oil revenues surpassed $7.16 billion in August, according to the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO).
In its report released Thursday, SOMO said Iraq exported more than 104 million barrels of oil last month. Exports from central and southern Iraq amounted to 103,895,706 barrels, while production from the Qayara field in Nineveh province reached 911,178 barrels.
The organization also confirmed that Iraq did not export any oil to Jordan during August.
