The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced that pilgrims from the Kurdistan Region will be accommodated in five-star hotels in Medina starting next year.
According to a statement from the KRG Hajj and Umrah Directorate, a delegation currently in Saudi Arabia met with the Iraqi High Commission for Hajj and reached an agreement to secure the best and closest hotels near the Holy Mosque of Medina. Most of these accommodations will be five-star, with many rooms overlooking the mosque.
The directorate also noted that special attention will be given to food and drinks, with efforts underway to provide pilgrims with the highest quality meals during their stay.
