Iraq has informed Turkey that oil exports will resume in the coming days, Bloomberg reported. According to Reuters, the agreement between the Kurdistan Region, Baghdad, and international oil companies is pending approval at today’s Iraqi cabinet meeting.

Oil officials confirmed that Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) reached a preliminary agreement on Monday with foreign companies to restart exports to Turkey via pipeline.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg quoted a Turkish official as saying Ankara will not place any obstacles on the flow of oil and that plans to renegotiate the Kurdistan Region–Turkey pipeline will not hinder exports.
