The Kurdistan Regional Meteorological Agency announced Thursday, September 18, 2025, that unstable weather will affect several parts of the region due to thunderstorms and dust.
According to the forecast, a wave of dust will cover all areas of the Kurdistan Region from Friday afternoon, reducing visibility to less than five kilometers and in some areas to under one kilometer.
Winds are expected to exceed 50 kilometers per hour in the afternoon, while conditions are expected to stabilize by night.
