The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) continues to remove New Generation Movement (NGM) banners in several cities and towns, replacing them with its own campaign materials. Meanwhile, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) is reportedly preventing NGM teams from hanging their banners in parts of Erbil.
NRT reporters said Sunday, October 5, 2025, that in both Koya and Dukan, the PUK has taken down all New Generation Movement banners and replaced them with its own.
Since the start of the campaign on November 3, the KDP in Erbil and the PUK in Sulaimanyah have been accused of systematically removing NGM campaign banners.
