A man was killed by his brother during a fight in Sidkan village, located in the Diyana district of Soran province, according to police.
In a statement on Saturday, Soran Police said the victim had been shot in the chest and later died in hospital. Following an investigation, it was confirmed that the incident was a murder case and that the victim’s brother was responsible.
The suspect has been arrested under Article 406 of the Iraqi Penal Code, and the weapon used in the crime has been confiscated by police.
Authorities said the case remains under investigation.
