With the Iraqi parliamentary elections set for November 11, the New Generation Movement is competing against the PUK and KDP with list No. 288 under the slogan "They Are Lying Again.” Party leaders across Sulaimaniyah, Erbil, Duhok, Mosul, and Kirkuk have outlined their key promises to citizens.

Sirwa Abdulwahid, head of the New Generation Movement list in Sulaimaniyah, said Saturday that they will work with the next Iraqi government to address and resolve the region’s long-standing issues. In Erbil, Kawa Abdulqadir emphasized that improving living standards and promoting development will be their top priorities.

Omid Mohammed, leading the list in Kirkuk, said they will continue to support local rights as they did when repealing Ba’ath-era decisions in parliament. Meanwhile, Sulaiman Musa in Duhok vowed to tackle the Kurdistan Region’s problems through cooperation with Baghdad.

The New Generation Movement has pledged to resolve the salary crisis, provide marriage and small loans, and ensure affordable access to fuel. The movement remains the only opposition force challenging both the PUK and KDP in the disputed territories and is expected to increase its parliamentary seats in this election.
