Iraqi Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani announced that the federal government has received more than one million barrels of oil from the Kurdistan Region so far.
Speaking to the Iraqi News Agency on Saturday, Abdul Ghani said the first shipment of 650,000 barrels has already been exported to the company with which the purchase contract was signed.
This marks the first time that the federal government has officially received and exported oil from the Kurdistan Region.
