The Sulaimanyah Health Department announced that the seasonal influenza vaccine will be available at all health centers in the city starting next week. Citizens are encouraged to visit the nearest health facility to receive the vaccine.
According to the General Directorate of Health, the vaccine strengthens the immune system, prevents infection with the seasonal influenza virus, and reduces the severity of symptoms in those who contract the virus.
