A truck collided with a private vehicle on the Kirkuk-Erbil highway near Pirde on Tuesday, a traffic police source told NRT.
The accident left nine people injured, including five students from the University of the Ketab and four workers. Paramedics quickly transferred the injured to hospital for treatment, while traffic police opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
