A police source told NRT that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the killing of Akbari Haji Rostam, a prominent Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) official, who was murdered in Garmian on Monday night.
According to the source, the two suspects had previously worked on the agricultural lands of Rostam but had not been associated with him for the past year and a half. Police confirmed that investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the killing.
