The Civil Defense Directorate in Raperin announced Wednesday that the body of a 22-year-old woman who drowned in the Darband area of Ranya was recovered within 10 minutes of the incident.
According to the Civil Defense spokesperson, the woman had entered the water along with three other women. While the others survived, she tragically drowned. Rescue teams quickly responded, retrieved her body, and transferred it to forensic medicine. The deceased woman was a mother of one.
