The Dakok Organization called on citizens of the Kurdistan Region to use the upcoming election to remove the PUK and KDP from power and hold them politically accountable for what the group described as years of misrule.

In a statement, the organization said it plans to hold a protest rally and urged people to treat the vote as an opportunity "to remove the PUK and KDP from power and hold them to account for their treachery.” The statement framed the demand as a civic, non-violent effort: "We want to turn this treason into a black spot of shame in the eyes of the two traitorous parties through a civil way,” the group said.

Dakok also called on citizens to raise awareness among younger generations about resisting corruption and what it described as the influence of militia forces, and expressed the goal of reclaiming territory it says was lost. The group urged the Kurdistan Regional Government to act and said it hopes the next generation will hold officials accountable for failings on issues including security, environment, and public services.
