The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) has started training 230,000 polling station employees ahead of next month’s parliamentary elections.
Spokeswoman Jumana Ghalai said Monday that the first phase of training began on Saturday and will be completed by the end of this month. The employees will serve at polling stations during the elections scheduled for November 11, 2025.
The upcoming elections will see the New Generation Movement face the ruling parties with List 288 and the campaign slogan "They are lying again"
