The Iraqi Embassy in Libya announced Sunday that 12 more migrants from the Kurdistan Region have been found in the country.
The embassy said it has begun coordination with Libyan authorities to verify their identities and prepare for their voluntary return to Iraq.
It added that earlier, the embassy had already declared its readiness to repatriate 41 other Iraqi migrants who are currently detained at the center for combating illegal immigration in eastern Tripoli.
