A policeman was killed and another injured in a shooting incident in Kirkuk last night, a source in the police said.
The 24-year-old policeman, who was a contract employee in the emergency department of Kirkuk, died after being shot in the chest, NRT reported.
According to a police source, several gunmen opened fire randomly, and about 15 minutes after the incident, three suspects were arrested. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the attack.
