A worker injured in an oxygen bottle explosion at a steel factory near the village of Lajani on the Gower road has died from his injuries.
Witnesses told NRT on Sunday that the explosion occurred yesterday, severely injuring the worker and causing him to lose a leg.
A hospital source said he was expected to remain under treatment for three days before being fitted with an artificial leg, but he passed away today.
