Reactions to the resumption of oil exports to world markets continue, as a US State Department spokesman confirmed that the agreement was achieved with the support of American diplomatic efforts.
US State Department spokesman Tammy Bruce said on Sunday that, after weeks of negotiations between Baghdad, the Kurdistan Region, and Ankara, an agreement was finally reached to resume oil exports from the Kurdistan Region.
She emphasized that the outcome was the result of weeks of US diplomatic engagement and added that the resumption of exports will bring tangible benefits to both Iraqis and Americans.
