Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani said on Wednesday that his government will provide assistance to citizens affected by the floods in the Kurdistan Region.
He stated that the Ministry of Finance has been instructed to allocate emergency funds to secure all necessary supplies and support for the affected population.
Sudani added that the National Center for Crisis and Disaster Management has directed the Ministry of Interior and other relevant agencies to deliver urgent assistance and logistical support to the areas impacted by the floods.
