The Sulaimanyah Meteorological Department reported that 122.7 mm of rain fell in Sulaimanyah in the past 24 hours, bringing the total rainfall this year to 258.7 mm.
Halbja province received 92.5 mm of rain in the past 24 hours, with a yearly total of 224.3 mm, while Sirwan district recorded the highest rainfall in the region with 95.3 mm, bringing the total to 249.6 mm so far this year.
In Garmian, Bawanur received the heaviest rainfall with 112 mm, followed by Maidan with 88 mm and Kalar with 76 mm. Meanwhile, Said Sadiq recorded 107.3 mm, and Penjwen 118.8 mm, bringing this year’s total to 317.5 mm, compared to 204 mm last year.
Ranya received 22.5 mm of rain in the past 24 hours, with the total rainfall this year reaching 185.2 mm.
