Iraq is set to receive a new advanced air defense system in the first quarter of next year, according to the commander of the Iraqi Air Defense, Mohannad Ghalib al-Asadi.
Al-Asadi said on Tuesday that the system is designed to operate under advanced cyber warfare conditions and will significantly enhance Iraq’s defense capabilities. He added that the system is capable of countering a wide range of aerial threats, including aircraft and other flying targets.
