Akbar Gharib, a member of the Kurdistan Regional parliament from the new generation movement, said Sunday that teachers and public employees have received only nine monthly salaries, while they are still required to cover 12 months of expenses.
Gharib stated that salaried employees must pay electricity, water, housing costs, and 12-month installments, despite not receiving full annual salaries.
"Tell the prime minister where in the world this exists,” he said, criticizing the government’s handling of employee salaries and financial obligations.
