A security forces employee who was injured in Chamchamal on Friday has died as a result of his injuries, the Chamchamal governor’s office said on Saturday.
The employee, identified as Ako Sabir, was injured during an argument between security forces and several individuals while charity items were being distributed to flood victims in Chamchamal.
Local authorities said investigations into the incident are ongoing, while security measures have been tightened to prevent similar incidents during aid distribution efforts.
