The Kurdistan Regional Meteorological Directorate announced that a wave of unstable weather will affect the Kurdistan Region today and tomorrow, bringing rain, snow and hail to several areas.
According to the forecast, the sky will be mostly cloudy, with moderate rainfall in most parts of the region. Snow is expected in border areas and high mountainous regions, while semi high areas may experience a mix of rain and snow.
Temperatures are expected to drop by two to five degrees Celsius compared to yesterday. The directorate added that rainfall will be more intense in mountainous and eastern areas, with snowfall continuing in high elevations and border regions.
Winds are expected to be active, with speeds exceeding 35 kilometers per hour, particularly in Garmian and Sulaimanyah. Intermittent rain is also expected in some areas during the evening hours.
