One person was killed in a serious traffic accident in Sulaimanyah province on Wednesday morning, a security source told NRT.
The accident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on the main road between Dukan and Khalkan. According to the source, the crash happened between a truck and a private vehicle, resulting in the death of the private vehicle’s driver.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the cause of the accident was wrong overtaking by the private vehicle. Authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident.
