The Swedish government has decided to pay $34,000 to each immigrant who leaves the country and returns to their home country.
According to the plan, any single immigrant over the age of 18 who chooses to return home will receive $34,000, while married couples will receive $63,000 beginning early next year.
However, several municipalities have expressed opposition to the plan, arguing that it will increase government costs and may not effectively address immigration challenges.
