The New Generation Movement has slammed the outgoing Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), saying its ongoing negotiations with Baghdad are merely a "theater” designed to deceive citizens.

"The outgoing government has been talking about an agreement with Baghdad for a long time. We want to tell the Kurdish people that this is a theater and an attempt to mislead salaried employees,” the movement said.

They warned that if major parties like the PUK and KDP win seats after the elections and people abstain from voting, the situation for citizens and salaried employees could worsen, and the outdated government might not honor any agreements with Baghdad.

New Generation Movement called on citizens and salaried employees to stop believing the government’s claims and stressed the importance of voting on November 11 to secure real representation and participation in the next Iraqi government.
