OPEC’s latest oil production figures show Iraq has risen to second place among the organization’s members, underlining its growing influence in the global energy market.
Saudi Arabia maintained its lead as the top producer, pumping 9.709 million barrels per day. Iraq followed with 4.15 million barrels per day, highlighting its significant contribution to global oil supplies. The United Arab Emirates ranked third with 3.255 million barrels per day, while Iran produced 3.218 million and Kuwait 2.492 million.
According to OPEC, production among member states has remained relatively stable, though differences in output continue to reflect varying national policies and production capacities. Despite challenges, Iraq’s performance underscores its continued importance within OPEC and its vital role in global market stability.
