Fahd Juburi, a member of the Hikma Movement, said that negotiations between Shiite parties and Kurdish and Sunni political forces have reached an advanced stage, particularly regarding the distribution of ministerial positions.
Juburi said that discussions within the Coordination Framework indicate growing consensus after reviewing the mechanisms for selecting a prime ministerial candidate from among nine proposed names, based on agreed criteria.
He added that Kurdish parties have not yet reached a final agreement on the post of president of the republic.
Meanwhile, a member of the Azm coalition said the decision on the post of speaker of the Iraqi parliament may be finalized in the coming days.
