On Thursday, December 4, 2025, meteorological expert Pashtiwan Penjweni said that snowfall is possible in January next year across all mountainous areas, the center of Sulaimanyah, and several other locations.
According to the forecast, a wave of rain will affect the region starting next week, particularly in the Raperin area, with some locations expected to receive 150 to 200 mm of rain.
Meanwhile, the weather forecast for today indicates cloudy to partly cloudy skies, with temperatures remaining stable.
