The media office of the new generation movement stated that no official or even a volunteer from the movement will give interviews to any channel that they say is run by the nation’s stolen money.
On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the media office said in a statement that certain media outlets affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) have become accustomed to publishing false reports in the name of anonymous sources.
The statement added: "All KDP media outlets know very well that no one from the new generation movement speaks to them, so they resort to publishing fabrications attributed to unnamed sources. Although these outlets are far from moral values and journalistic ethics, they continue to spread false news.”
The movement’s media office further emphasized that the new generation movement has not stooped to the level of giving statements to ruling-party media during the past seven years.
