The Iraqi Council of Ministers announced Wednesday that it has approved several new decisions, including allocating $10 billion for medicines and medical supplies, a significant increase from the previous 500 million dinars.
The council also decided to distribute residential land to employees of ministries and universities and reorganize taxes and customs at all Iraqi border crossings, particularly those in the west.
The Iraqi government has recently sent medical supplies to hospitals in the Kurdistan Region and provided citizens with free oil and fuel at the request of the new generation movement as part of its social support efforts.
