The Kurdistan Regional Meteorological Agency announced that another wave of snow, rain and cold weather will hit the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
According to the agency, the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy today, with the weather system starting early in the morning in the western border areas of Duhok province. By the afternoon, the wave is expected to spread across all areas of the Kurdistan Region, including the centers of the four provinces and Kirkuk.
The forecast indicates that temperatures will drop by five to eight degrees Celsius, while snowfall in mountainous areas is expected to range between 15 and 30 centimeters. Temperatures in several areas are also expected to fall below zero degrees Celsius.
The agency said the wave will gradually weaken tomorrow evening and overnight, after which weather conditions are expected to return to normal.
