The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, that Thursday, December 25, 2025, will be a public holiday in the Kurdistan Region on the occasion of the birthday of Jesus Christ.
According to the announcement, the holiday will include all ministries, offices, and government institutions. The private sector will also observe the holiday in accordance with the law.
