The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) announced on Tuesday that Iraq’s oil revenues exceeded $48 billion during the first nine months of this year.
According to SOMO, Iraq exported 918 million 290 thousand 407 barrels of oil between December and September, with an average of 102 million barrels per month.
Exports from the Basra and central oil fields through Basra’s ports totaled 900 million 564 thousand 77 barrels, while exports from the Kirkuk field reached 7 million 99 thousand 154 barrels. Additionally, 1 million 866 thousand 194 barrels were exported from Kirkuk to Jordan.
Total oil export revenues from December to September amounted to $48 billion 821 million 656 thousand 726, SOMO said.
