After Turkish Airlines, Turkish low-cost carrier AJet has announced that it will begin flights to Sulaymaniyah International Airport next month.
In a statement, the airline said its first flight between Istanbul and Sulaymaniyah will operate on December 2, 2025. According to the schedule, flights will depart from Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Sulaymaniyah on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
In mid-November, the Turkish government reopened its airspace to flights from Sulaymaniyah International Airport after months of suspension, paving the way for new routes and carriers to resume operations.
