The family of Shaswar Abdulwahid Qadir, leader of the New Generation Movement, participated in the general elections on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, by casting their votes at a polling station in Sulaimanyah.
After voting, Shaswar Abdulwahid’s mother said, "God does not accept this injustice” expressing frustration over ongoing injustices faced by citizens.
Following the family’s participation, Sirwa Abdulwahid, leader of the New Generation Movement list in Sulaimanyah, emphasized that election day is a crucial opportunity for citizens to "take revenge” for the oppression they have endured and to bring about change through voting.
