The director of the Erbil Election Office, Marwan Mohammed Salih, announced on Sunday that the results of the special vote will not be released today but will be announced along with the general vote results.
He explained that the Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) has decided to announce all results simultaneously after the completion of the general elections.
Salih added that the election process continues smoothly without any obstacles and that all polling committees are prepared to address any potential issues.
The general voting process for the Iraqi parliamentary elections is scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
