Rebaz Hamlan said they will work with the Iraqi prime minister to resolve this year’s remaining payments.
Hamlan, a former deputy in the outgoing government, said Tuesday that Baghdad is expected to send the September payment as soon as possible, but insists on addressing all four remaining monthly payments together.
He added that the issue of the remaining four payments for this year will be settled with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani.
