Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani spoke by phone with the leader of the new generation movement list to discuss the election results and the political situation in Iraq. During the call, Sudani also asked about the condition of Shaswar Abdulwahid, who has been imprisoned for five months for political reasons.
Sudani and Sirwa Abdulwahid discussed the post-election climate and ongoing political developments. The prime minister stressed that all political forces should cooperate to form the next Iraqi government.
