Citizens from multiple tribes in Duhok province continued their demonstrations on Thursday, November 13, 2025, claiming that their candidates had won enough votes in the parliamentary elections, but the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) manipulated the results.

Protesters gathered in several areas, including Sheikhan, Zakho, and Bardarash, accusing the KDP of changing the vote counts and preventing their candidates from winning seats.

As part of their protest, demonstrators blocked the main road between Duhok and Erbil, demanding that the election commission investigate the alleged tampering and restore what they described as the "true results” of the vote.
