A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Finance told NRT that the distribution of November salaries in Baghdad will begin at the end of this week or early next week.
According to the source, and under the agreement between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, Baghdad will send one month's salary to the Kurdistan Region after completing the salary distribution for Iraqi employees. The payment to the Kurdistan Region is expected next week.
The source also confirmed that the Kurdistan Region has not yet submitted the 120 billion dinars in non-oil revenues for September to the federal government, stressing that these revenues must be delivered before Baghdad releases the salaries.
