The governor of Chamchamal announced that the tuition fees of college and university students in the district have been exempted.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, the Chamchamal Governor’s Office said that, based on a recommendation from the Chamchamal Emergency and Rehabilitation Commission, the Ministry of Higher Education has decided to waive tuition fees for all parallel students in colleges and universities, including postgraduate (Master’s and PhD) programs.
Regarding the procedures, the statement explained that students are required to obtain confirmation from their neighborhood council (mukhtar) and submit it to the Chamchamal Governor’s Office, which will then officially notify the relevant institute or university to complete the tuition exemption process.
