Imprisoned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Ocalan issued a message on Monday declaring that they are committed to removing all obstacles hindering Kurdish-Turkish brotherhood. The message was delivered through a delegation that visited him on Sunday.

Ocalan described current efforts as a "major transformation" and expressed full support for the success of the peace process. "What we are doing represents a big change, and we will do everything for its success,” he said in the statement.

He emphasized that while "brothers may fight,” they ultimately cannot live without one another. Ocalan further noted symbolic efforts underway to "clear traps and mines" and to "repair collapsed roads and bridges," referring to rebuilding trust and connections disrupted by conflict.

This marks Ocalan’s latest call for reconciliation and comes amid increasing discussions on the future of Kurdish-Turkish relations and the PKK’s direction following its recent congress.
