An advisor to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani stated during the Arab Summit in Baghdad that upcoming elections could yield different results, and Iraq is capable of resolving long-standing financial and political issues.
Speaking to NRT on Saturday, Advisor Aeed Hilali emphasized the importance of the summit for Iraq and the Arab world, highlighting challenges such as political instability, economic hardship, and climate change. He noted that several delegations have arrived in Baghdad and that the government is working seriously to resolve disputes with the Kurdistan Region.
Hilali also stressed the need to accelerate oil exports from the Kurdistan Region, a topic that will be addressed during the summit’s discussions.
