An adviser to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced that Iraq’s non-oil revenues have increased to 14 percent, doubling from 7 percent due to the growth of economic partnerships.
He noted that over the past three years, the government has implemented strategic policies to boost the private sector and diversify the national economy. He added that the private sector now complements government efforts to achieve sustainable development and attract domestic investment.
