Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has ruled out a swift return to negotiations with the United States, stating that Iran will not resume talks under current conditions and reaffirming the nation’s commitment to its nuclear program.

"I don’t think the talks with the United States will resume so quickly. For them to decide to rejoin, they must first make sure that the United States does not attack them during the talks,” Araghchi said on Tuesday.

He emphasized that Iran’s uranium enrichment program is non-negotiable. "Uranium enrichment technology and science will not be destroyed by bombing, and the Iranian people will not give up uranium enrichment easily,” he declared.

Despite the strong stance, Araghchi noted that Iran is not closing the door on diplomacy entirely. "They still need more time to resume talks, but they will never close the diplomatic doors,” he said.

The comments come amid renewed calls from international powers to revive stalled nuclear negotiations and reduce tensions in the region.
