SULAIMANI — The Iraqi Oil Ministry said the ministry had met
with a delegation from the Kurdistan Region’s in Baghdad to discuss new
mechanism for the Region's oil exports.
The ministry said in a statement on Sunday (March 26) that
Oil Minister and Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hayyan Abdulghani met
with the delegation.
The Region’s delegation included Kamal Mohammed, acting
Minister of Natural Resources, and Umed Sabah, President of the Diwan of
Council of Ministers.
In the meeting the Kurdistan Region’s revenues were also
discussed, the statement noted.
The statement did not mention if their meetings reached an
agreement or if future meetings are planned.
