Faruk Medical City chair among top 100 healthcare leaders nominated by Forbes

SULAIMANI — Forbes Middle East has chosen Faruk Mustafa Rasool, the Chairman of Faruk Medical City, as one of the top 100 healthcare leaders in the Middle East for the year 2023.

Regarding this recognition, Rasool stated that, " I am honored to receive this recognition from Forbes, and I am grateful to my colleagues, partners, and staff for their unwavering support and dedication to our mission”.

He added, "This recognition is not only a testament to our hard work, but also a motivation for us to continue improving and providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients”.

There are 210 beds, 190 doctors, 37 departments, 11 operation rooms, and 2 ambulances at FMC.

According to a press release from Faruk Investment Group, Aster DM Healthcare and Faruk Medical City signed a contract in Dubai in December 2022, "to collaborate on capability development, academic and professional training programs for clinical staff and healthcare professionals in Iraq”.
