The Iraqi High Election Commission (IHEC) announced on Thursday that it continues to print biometric cards for voters who registered in 2024 and those who renewed their cards in 2025. So far, 3,584,829 new cards have been printed and will be distributed in September across 1,079 polling stations.
The Commission also confirmed that the final number of voters has reached 20,063,773, with a total of 39,285 polling stations across Iraq. Each station will accommodate 550 voters, according to the Council of Commissioners.
